I’ve donated at BioLife about 80 times. It started as a way to make extra money but it’s like a win-win since it also helps people.

What is Plasma Donation?

Often referred to as “liquid gold,” plasma is the pale, yellow liquid that makes up about 55% of your blood.

We separate plasma from your blood using a process called plasmapheresis. The plasma is then used to produce various treatments and therapies. Since our bodies replenish plasma so easily, donation is both a safe and admirable choice for donors.

Patients infuse PI medication on various schedules spanning from daily to monthly. A donation collected may not be manufactured in a plasma derived therapy or made available to a patient for upwards of 12 months.
